Speaker cable question?

so is it recommended to use the same brand cable for all your speakers?

If your using wall plates should you be using the same brand wire you used within the walls?

And does quality really matter?

I thought I would add this is for in wall installations.

Using the same gauge is more important than the same brand. No need to spend a lot on wires/cables. Just get good quality reasonably priced stuff. Most get 12g speaker wire from Home Depot/Loews, or get it on-line from Monoprice or Bluejeanscable.com. For in-wall installation you need CL-2 or CL-3 rated wire for fire safty.

And I'd use the same grade from start to finish. Before and after a wall plate.
