not a show that i ever watched, but i think it is one that i might enjoy.

was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the "megaset" complete series that is already out, and the complete series that is due out later this month ?  both seem to have the same descriptions and the same number of discs.  the new one is quite a bit cheaper.

I've never seen this show but same as Jimmy, I think it's one that I'd like to see.

Anyone that knows the show, can it be compared to something similar from the older shows?

I remember seeing a few episodes early on. I recall it being a nice show but at the time I don't recall it pulling me in based on what else was on. However, tastes change and I can see it now being worth another chance. I view it as a period piece like "Little House" but with less tragedy and probably a bit more adult story lines. We are currently watching "Road to Avonlea" and I can see it as being similar to the later seasons of it.

For the $100 it seems like a pretty good deal for six seasons and two made for TV movies. Also, it looks like they got rid of the mega set design that couldn't have been good for saving space or protecting disks. I hoping for a simple multi disk slim case design.

so then it is just packaging changes ?

That's what it looks like to me. I wouldn't expect anything to be done to the transfers and it looks like it still has the same extras. It would actually be more work on their part to do anthing different. I find this to actually be a good thing since I never liked the way they create these mega sets.

The same thing is happening with the upcoming complete serie sets of Homicide and Farscape. Simplier packaging and cheaper price.
