Hocus Pocus - Where is the SE???

I have consistently held off on this title for years, thinking the special edition treatment for this was a for sure thing soon enough. We are now into the 2009 season and no such thing still exists. Hocus Pocus continues to be one of Amazon’s top sellers every season.

Unless I have missed something, it doesn’t look like this will be showing up anytime soon. This has so much potential for content, but why isn’t Disney capitalizing on this movie and giving it better treatment? When its as cheap as it is now, its hard to resist the bare bones release as it is.

 Disney Channel (they dropped the word "the" years ago) is pushing their witch-based sitcom "The Wizards of Waverly Place" all over, and they even dumbed down the "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" reissue to promote the show. If that's their line of thinking, this would be a logical choice because it needs to be remastered in the first place, while B&B had a decent 16x9 transfer to begin with.
