Help with some Pre Wiring

I am in the process of finishing a basement.  I am looking to set-up a centralized wiring closet.  I have three rooms in the basement.  I am trying to plan for the future (do not have the money to set-up everything now).  I have the location to the TVs that I am going to eventually install.  I do not plan to put surround sound in these three rooms.  I have another bigger room that will eventually have the works.  This is what I am planning so far. 

Each TV will have the following run from the central closet:
1- Component
2 -HDMI
1 -RG6 Coax
2 -Cat 6.
1 -2 inch conduit

I would like to set-up the universal remote with a repeater to control all devises. 

My question is am I missing anything or is this overkill?  I got some of the wiring already from monoprice.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

1.  Component carries video.  What about the sound or will you be using a 5 conductor cable for this?
2.  How many HDMI inputs does each TV have?
3.  Why? 
4.  Conduit for future runs is great but why not over-wire in the beginning?

Compare the cost of in-wall rated component cables vs. making your own from RG-59 or RG-6.  For around $100 I picked up 1,000' of copper clad RG-59 and 50 RCA connectors.  It was an e-bay deal so your milage may vary.  It works out cheaper for me since my runs were pretty long.

Will all source components be located in the central closet?  If so, the number of wires run to each location can be reduced to what ever is essential to deliver a signal (one HDMI and/or one component).  If you plan to put source components at each TV, then a single (or double for some dish systems) RG6 may be sufficient for now and the 2" conduit provides your future proofing.  Unless you have a specific need for Cat 6, Cat 5e will likely handle your needs.  Cat 6 is bulky and much harder to finish than Cat 5e.

Making your own cable from either RG59 or RG6 wire is a good way to go.  You will need to invest in a decent cable stripper and compression tool to install the ends.

I do plan on putting all the components in one closet.  Without multiple runs how can I use multiple components?  For example I want to have the Cable/DVD/BlueRay/Xbox all to one TV.  Would I need sometype of automated switch?  For right now I am running 3HDMI, 1 Component, 2 Cat 6.  I have not put the Drywall up yet.

I only have 1 HDMI input on my projector and I have 3 HDMI components connected to it.  My HDMI switch has 4 inputs so I can add another later.  Most quality receivers have HDMI switching built in.  I'm still using a non-HDMI receiver for my audio and a switch was cheaper than upgrading to a new receiver.

In my configuration source selection is done by a receiver.  All source components, the receiver, and the whole house audio equipment are located together in a central location.  Selection and control of the equipment is handled using an RF remote control.  If you were not planning to put a receiver at the head-end of each TV, then consider an HDMI switch.  Low end models are sub-$50.

Now I understand.  I probably just overwired then.  I am only finishing half of my basement which is a play room for the kids and a fitness room.  For those 2 I am not worried about the sound I am ok with the sound from the TV speakers.  The next area will be the media room/bar.  I appreciate your help.
