Connecting PS3 to Bose and Projector

Ive been trying to hook my PS3 to my Bose Lifestyle 48 series and my Hitachi projector (only has componet and VGA slots, to old i guess). Anyway when I have my PS3 connected directly to my projector I can get 720-1080 res(but no bose sound) but when it is hooked through my Bose, I can only get 420 res (with bose sound). Does anyone have any idea how to hook all this mess up and have it where I can enjoy the 720-1080 res and my bose sound at the same time. If there is any cables you guys suggest I buy I will get anything to make this work. I am in Iraq right now for one more month but I will buy whatever is needed so I have it when I get back and keep an update. If anyone knows please help!....

Welcome to the forum.  This section is for large projects and questions on how to build a dedicated room.  Your question is better suited for the Basic section where you will get more responses.  Find a moderator to move it for you.
