Can't use the add to feature

 I joined the forum this evening and have posted a couple of messages so it seems my connection is working. But when I visit the lists to add my hardware and disc collection titles to my profile I get error messages.

When I click the add to my list button I get the dialog box. After checking off the appropriate choices and oking this dialog I get the barber pole box asking me to wait.  After about 45 seconds this clears and an error box appears stating there was a communication error and that I should wait a few minutes and try again.

I've been going back and trying this between posts and always get the error.  Do I need to be running a particular OS or running a specific browser to make this work?

Welcome Richard, sorry you are having trouble.  You souldn't need to be running anything specific.  Can you try it again?  If you are still having problems please let me know what OS and brower are you running.  Can you also give me a product that you were trying to add to your profile?

 Adam,

Thank you for the nice greeting and advice.  I did return to the forum a few days later and discovered that despite the error messages everything I had tried to add was added.  Since then I've not seen any error messages.
