Thanks for the heads up Travis. This was quite the surprise last season. I didnt think i would like it, but now i am hooked. (ready for the Blu-ray of season 1 too!)

Did anyone else have audio problems.  I have DiSH Network and the audio mix seemed screwy.  The rear channels were really loud while as was the music and sound effects while the voices were very low, to the point were I could barely hear them. I couldn't turn the volume up because of how loud the sound effects were.  I seem to remember this happening some last year as well.  Not sure if it is a DiSH or Cartoon Network problem.

^ I saw a few people on a Star Wars board saying the same thing but they didn't mention whether they were using Dish or not. I have Comcast and I didn't have a problem.

I enjoyed the two premiere episodes but they seemed to lack the intensity of the later season 1 episodes, which were quite good. Still, it is a fun show and I think the new season will bring good things.

For some reason, they played a new episode tonight and it was easily the most action packed show they've ever done and one of the best episodes of the series.

I think the episode reruns on Friday night but that may change since Cartoon Network's schedule is more like a rough estimate of what they might play rather than something that they adhere to.

The episode shown the other night is indeed on tonight in the show's regular time slot.

^ Thanks for the info. Me and my buddy will likely rewatch it since it was such a cool episode.

An amazing episode. Almost non-stop combat action and one of the more "adult" episodes too - with the Jedi speaking about their weariness of the war and fear that it won't end, multiple shots of dead troopers, the opponent being other living creatures instead of droids, and one of the most direct instances yet of the hopelessness of the Republic cause when the leader of the opposition is privy to the planning of all your major operations.

Very very good episode. Nice nod to "Attack of the Clones" too. Finally get to see Jedi Mundi do something other than stand around. LOL

The show's web site has a survey up, for any who are interested:

This week's episode is on Friday at 9 PM (rather than the usual 8 PM).

That initial Geonosis battle was intense.  While the graphics for living characters is still off.  The ships and vehicles are top notch.

I LOVE this show. The animation is generally better than your typical cartoon, and the action is always terrific. Very entertaining.

Hope y'all didn't miss Friday's two episode return.  Oh, why can't Twi'lek women be real?    (and that's the geekiest thing you'll read all day)

I was wondering how the clone deserter could have kids that age. The Clone Wars only last 3 years so even if he defected very early on in the war and it's very late in the war, it doesn't make sense that his kids (the "bi-species" look of the kids certainly seems to indicate that he's their biological father) could be that age.

I might have topped you in terms of geekiness, Greg.

Maybe Twi'leks grow faster, or maybe clones have a little Boba booster in their boys.

I'm guessing that "Twi'leks grow faster" will be the in-universe explanation or maybe since the clones age twice as fast as other humans, their offspring does as well.

Either way, my friend is still making fun of me for pointing out something so goofy.

What a cool riff on Attack of the Clones.  I think this'll be one of my favorite episodes.  I love Master Sinube.  There was some great visual work, such as the lines of shadows on Ashoka's face when she threatened the aquatic alien, and when the Bith train operator was surprised by the jango jumper at the window.

I turned off the preview in seconds, but next week's looks promising.  I do hope the Coruscant underworld is featured again in the future.

I agree, I thought this week's episode showed a darker side of life than we'd really seen in the show before. I wouldn't want every episode to take place in the underworld, but it is an interesting place to revisit from time to time.

It also showed that there might just be a little Anakin in Ashoka.  Wouldn't it be a shock if it turns out she was Darth's apprentice between the trilogies?  I wonder if there will be a point at which we will learn her fate.

Ha.  I wonder if Lucas will make some prequel special editions where she is inserted?

Greg, please delete your post before someone at Lucasfilm reads it!

BLAST! Now we know why the "Ultimate Edition" of Star Wars on Blu Ray is taking so long..finding places to insert Ashoka!

In TPM:

"Fear leads to anger.  Anger leads to hate.  Hate leads to. . . ."

"Sorry to interrupt, Master Yoda, but good news!  A new Jedi baby named Ahsoka was just born!"

Not sure about the timeline.  She's, what, 15 in Clone Wars?

Well, you should have seen the first draft of this.  I was so off, I had her being birthed during Clones.

It hasn't been said onscreen. [NERD]According to Wookieepedia, she was born 36 years before the battle of Yavin (Episode IV) which makes her 14 in the first year of the war. Lucasfilm hasn't decided exactly when these episodes take place yet. Once the series is finished, they're going to take the cartoon(s), books, comics and video games and establish a timeline for all of The Clone Wars material.[/NERD]

Greg, for a moment i thought you were quoting DUNE! " Its is for this alone, i set my mind in motion." If i got the quote right.

Hmm, I thought this was one of the most cartoony, kidified eps they've done since the early days of S1. Seemed like pure filler. I liked the idea of the underworld, as I never figured the Jedi/Republic capital to have one; the buddy cop format and 12-year oldish villains just didn't do it for me.

I liked the episode (especially the amazing animation when the signs fall into the flying car lanes) but the voice acting/casting on the two villains didn't work for me.

That Embo guy was cool.  Can't wait for the Very Special Guest on the 23rd.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

According to the behind the scenes featurette at starwars.com, Embo's voice is director Dave Filoni reading from a French language Smurfs book (with plenty of electronic processing so he sounded cool).
