warner Full frame re-releases? Hope these Are still coming one day....

  Hi again all.
During the last Warner Chat, Mr F had mentioned that we would be seeing many of the previously fullframe only movies releases A) either in the archives or as B) the two/three film sets ala  Bronson collection in their proper widescreen ratio.

Well since then we haven't seen any that I am aware of. There have been a lot of new collections but those appear to use the same old full frame transfers, including the Grumpy Old Men Collection.
Has anyone heard anything regarding any of these.
I've been dying to replace my laser discs of the grumpy old men movies. And the chat also mentioned that some of the ff Chevy chase movies were most likely going to be updated.
Do you all think this could still be a possibility or are we sol?
It really wouldnt bother me if they came out in the archives as I just would love to see these in OAR.
I'm region free so i've purchased a few ones that were OAR in the uk, france and germany, but I would personally have a proper ntsc release as I can notice the pal speedup with some actors. John Travolta, Tom Arnold, and Mel Gibson come to mind.
haha I got the German se of True Lies since i wanted 16:9 and extras, but man Pal speedup makes Tom Arnold sound extremely grating...more so than usual.
Any update or comments on this subject would be appreciated.

Frantic, one of the finest suspense thrillers ever made is still inexplicably not available in widescreen, let alone a special edition, which it most assuredly deserves. Do you think now with Polanski in the headlines, we may see this re-issued? Its always a tie-in with something with the studios, aint it?
