I absolutely agree.   I was in tears about halfway through and didn't stop crying for about an hour.   I don't think I've laughed that hard since one particularly MASH episode I saw when in college -- and I think that had a couple beers attached.

The entire scene with Rick Springfield was just over the top nasty.. it's hilarious that he's willing to play that role.. I love that they brought back Hank's "book" published by the shark, I keep hoping they will have a reveal where she has to admit she didn't write it as her second book sucks ;)

I don't know when she's going to have time to write the book since she's in college with Claire.  ;)

So far, I've liked her much more on Californication than Heroes. But I'm sure for an actor, being on a "big" network show is attractive due to greater visibility. The pay may even be better.

Is it me, or is it not that big of a deal between Hank and the F&P girl?  He didn't know who she was and she came on to him.  It's not like this happened after he met her and knew who she was ad how old.  IDK, after all the things his wife has forgiven him for that he did knowingly, seems she is overreacting.

Great ending tho.

Well, she made a heck of a comeback on the season finale tonight, and Hank gets both the credit for the book.. and he will likely get framed as the scumbag who was afraid to publish under his own name... and we go on with a virtual Roman Polanski situation next year ;)

What a tricky tightrope they have to walk for next season!

What, statutory rape is not that big a deal??  He should get jail time for it, even in California.

Karen was marrying the girl's father, I'd expect her to be pissed as hell.

Nice cover of Rocketman to bookend with the pilot.  Felt a bit sorry for Runkle though.

Some really great epsiodes too the past few weeks. Weakest one was easily the duel ep from last week.

The one withe all the women in Hanks apartment including the ODing girl was one of my favorites episodes so far.

Pretty great season ending I thought.  Was pretty touching (Beccas talk with Hank) and sad.

Karens comments had me wondering is Kapinos used to read the comic book Cerebus "Youre gonna die poor, drunk and alone" / "You live only a few more Years. You die alone unmourned and unloved".

We all knew the truth about Mia and the book would come out, but strangely I felt sad for Hank, while it doesn't excuse his actions, he knew the truth would destroy his family, especially after finally getting them all on the same page again, but he let it out anyway, damn the consequences because truth ultimately frees the soul.

poor Hank can't win!

He didn't know she was underage, she was all over him, he never even met her up to that point so he didn't know she was Karens soon to be step daughter.

Jeremiah:  I agree with you.  But in the court of public appeals, the rule is still the same: ignorance is no excuse accepted under the law.

It's not a question of legality, Hank does lots of illegal things.

If Mia testifies I dont see "sleeping with her" as his real problem as much as Hank taking his second swing at a police officer, the public interest and loosing his family.

Maybe we'll see Bill again next season.

The problem is that he's much, much older than her.  It's no defence that she seduced him: he needed to check her age.  IIRC he never asked her; he just assumed she was 18+.
