i purchased this 52" Philips LCD HDTV 1080p....i just recently purchased the Bell express vu HDPVR...i ordered the HD channel listings and when i watch a HD program...the picture only comes in half of the screen..the quality is good but the screen size is not there..i tried every setting i can play with in the tv and the HDPVR and cant get it to come to full screen...can someone tell me what is going on with this home entertainment

- Make sure connected via HDMI or component video (green/red/blue RCA)
- make sure output of box is set to 1080i and TV shape to 16:9
- check TV on a "16:9" or "full" or whatever is the terminology on your set. (Aspect or format or "picture size" button).
- not all programs on HD channels will actually be in HD, some will be SD and be pillarboxed (bars on sides) or stretched (ugh).

You might want to go to www.digitalhome.ca and register there and check their Bell TV forums. They have one specifically for HD receivers.
