Ghost Whisperer starts its 5th season tonight in its usual Friday 8 p.m. timeslot on CBS.

Watched it.  I can't stand this show anymore.  JLH as a MILF is quite enticing, but I don't really see it going that way, sadly....this show has truly gone beyond stupid into levels of moronic that I can no longer tolerate.

Leaps forward hurt my mind.  Generally, it's 2009 for the characters and they leap ahead but it's still 2009.  It's what they've done in comic books for years, but it's still a little unsettling.  I mean, I'm sure the writers aren't going to write it as if it's in 2014 and make guesses about technology and current events.  They did a similar thing in Funky Winkerbean recently.  Ten years jump, but still no Jetsons cars.

Too bad Jim is now S. Jim Lucas.  I was hoping they would just completely sweep the whole thing under the rug.  We didn't see the other actor, so that was a start.  The whole thing turned out to be a stupid stunt.  "We wanted to give David something different to do."  So, now he's back to being good ol' Jim Clancy and doesn't even remember the other life and the role is exactly what it was in seasons 1 through 4.

That's Dr. Jim by the way, another aspect of the story that grates on me for some reason.  Anyway, as I said I am done and have deleted this from my DVR schedule.

There's a movie called Chain Letter coming out soon where people die when they don't forward the e-mail.  Not exactly a revolutionary concept, but I bet the writer of the most recent episode of GW knew about it when she penned this.  If there's one thing that drives me nuts about GW, it's the "ripped from a popular 'horror' movie" thing they love to do.  Remember the awful Twilight-inspired episode?  The bottom line is that this wasn't my favorite episode.

This weeks episode was unintentionally funny with all the drama surrounding Eli's family, it struck me as Ghost Whisperer meets your typical episode of The Jerry Springer Show lol.

Anyone see this last Friday?

Yeah.

I saw it too. Melinda does a pole dance. Can she exploit herself anymore? Not that I'm complaining.

interesting developments with Aidan.  And the Bickersons were a fun couple.  But mostly this episode made left me thinking that Melinda needs to wear more very short skirts and dresses.

I am sad this show is not coming back next season but I am also sort of relieved. I think it was a mistake to bring in a child this season. This sort of made the show a little to dire for its own good. I liked it better when it was sappy.

Says it might end up on ABC.  It's kind of a comfort food show, but I don't love it anymore.  They should have brought Randy Mantooth in earlier if they wanted to stay healthy.  That guy should be in everything.  I'll follow it to ABC if it goes there.
