lg lhb977 speakers

i am excited to start using the lg lhb977 that came in the mail today from sears, but the tallboy speakers are supposed to be screwed into the base and i don't see any screws in the packaging.  has anyone else had this problem with LG speakers.  what screw size should i use?

In my experience it is much less trouble and a lot faster to go to Lowes, Home Depot, Fastenal or your local hardware store with at least one speaker so that you can find the correct bolts/screws.  The folks at Lowes looked at me like I was crazy when I walked in with a 40 pound magnet and a 15" subwoofer cone assembly to look for bolts to put them together.  It was much easier than buying the wrong thing or more than I needed and having to make a second or third trip.
