Remote control for Windows Media Center PC and STB

I'm trying to setup Windows Media Center to watch live TV, but at the end, at the moment to setup the remote control WMC says that the remote in question can't control the STB. The only option left is to cancel the setup.
WMC shows me a graph where a IR receiver is connected to the computer as well as the STB.

Where can I find such remote with that IR receiver?

What brand/model TV tuner card are you using, and what kind of STB are you trying to record from?  Did the card come with any IR blasters?  What brand media center remote are you trying to use?

You may be better off just hooking the cable to the computer directly (split one end to computer, other to STB), and recording using clear QAM, depending on the capabilities of the card.
