Community - season 1 - Page 5

My wife especially liked the pool game scenes.  She is in a pool league here locally, but assured me no one in her league plays pool in the way they did on the show.

Ok, I would almost swear that Warren Zevon is in two fast moving scenes when the pool tournament starts.  There is a dark haired, bearded guy in what I believe to be a beige or light colored suit looking on.  He's sitting at first and then starts to get up?  I am going to have to go back and re-watch it.  If it's not Warren Zevon, then the guy looks very out of place or was meant to look like a Werewolf?

Warren died in 2003, so it's DEFINITELY not him.  But maybe they planted a look-a-like as tribute?

The Britta spanking scene tonight was pure win.
It was the funniest damn scene I've ever seen, with Jeff and Amber coming in and Troy screaming, "SHE'S HAD ENOUGH!  SHE'S HAD ENOUGH!"  Yet another in a long line of having to pause and rewind because I'm laughing too hard to watch the following scene.  Also, the crying rant about Glee.  And Kat looks pretty good with the short, blonde hair.

This show is delivering big time.  Britta and grandma and Troy, hilarious stuff.  Even Katherine McPhee surprised me with her turn in this episode.

Another great episode.  The spanking scene was terrific.  When Britta started crying I lost it!

Glad to hear "Community" got renewed for a 2nd season, too.

I didn't watch the first couple of episodes, but I'm loving it now.

Britta's crying was kind of disturbing (a little too real), but after watching it a few more times I got sufficiently desensitized to laugh at the situation. Still, if I just heard the audio track I would be haunted for many days afterward.

Abed Is a riot! He is my favorite on the show. I kept rewinding the scene where he starts hissing and waving his arms. LOL!

Troy: Abed, what was that?

Abed: A different version of myself. I think it was a vampire

OMG this show is so funny. The only thing I don't like about it is that stupid mascot, the human being. Freaks me out.

I'm pretty sure that's the point :)

Ya, but she's got coulrophobia.  She had to skip a clown-filled episode of Pushing Daisies (unless she ended up watching it--not 100% sure). And, the Human Being is a little creepier now that it has a partner.
Yeah I never did watch that episode! LOL! I coudln't even make it through Alice in Wonderland without closing my eyes every time Depp and Helena were on screen.

The human being while it doesn't look like a clown it just looks creepy and strange.
I'm not too fond of clowns myself, but I can look at the Human Being.  It is creepy and I would be claustrophobic in that outfit, but it makes me laugh a lot.

Annie's got a way with clay...
I shouldn't post this, but I got a little hot under the collar when Annie was making her vase.  Whew.

When they cut to the Swayze poster, I was thinking, "That is so wrong!"  And then Milbarge says, "It's not in bad taste.  I did it before he died."
"You're Goldblumming" utterly destroyed me. "He's ghostriding the jib" almost made me cry. And shit, yeah -- the Patrick Swayze poster.

The probationary period has elapsed, and I declare Chevy Chase officially funny again. Damn windmills.

(What made the swastika-windmill scene even better was the cop's reaction. I was convulsing on the couch during that whole scene, it was so freaking wrong.)

I think this might be the best show on TV right now. That episode had, like, four different storylines that were all funny, and even weirder, they all worked as storylines. I like that the recurring character roster is already really deep. Like, already deeper than The Office or 30 Rock.

Side note:

Yes, I want to bang Annie, too. Britta is cute and all, but Annie seems crazy enough to be a total freak.

I cracked up at that joke.

If this were any other ordinary show, just Tony Hale in a dashiki would've been the major high point.
Speaking of Tony Hale, did I miss seeing his and Lee Majors' names in the credits?  I fast-forwarded and rewound, but I didn't see them listed.  Weird.
^ They're listed in the end credits.
Thanks.  I'm used to end credits just being for minor roles, so I didn't look there.  Plus, I was too busy looking upon Senor Chang's magnificence.

Bless the internets... Annie and her way with clay (probably NSFW)....

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Soooo, was that intentionally titillating, or am I a sick puppy?

(the fact that the animated gif exists argues for intentional)

Thanks for posting that.  /sweating smiley

Just the look on McHale's face alone in that image is awesome.
