Main Forum Page Announcements Thread

We would like to know if you think it would make a difference if the main page to the forum included some form of announcement from us about major happenings. For example with our recent trip to CEDIA, or a banner regarding an upcoming chat or similar to draw your attention to it on the forum.

Does it really matter to you to see these sort of announcements or not?

I never go to the main page.  I start at Forums and work down from there.  Which is part of the reason why I want the jump back.

I take it you mean on our "personalized home page"? That ends up being the main page for me. I think that would be useful, especially for news about upcoming chats.
