What color van were they driving?  You were in the parking lot of what big box store?

If this is the company, they don't look like any white van speakers I've seen:

I have a long list of white van speaker brands, and Kinetic isn't on the list. I'm sure it needs updating though.

I found this site on them.....

I just picked up a KA-4210 from a guy in a parking lot.  LMAO!!  Apparently I'm pretty stupid....I have never heard of the parking lot scam.

Now those may be a different story. Even though I don't have that name on my list, they LOOK exactly like a White Van Speaker system.........

I just bought a set too so don't feel too stupid!!!  It was an old 2 tone blue van, chevy mini van I think.  I only paid $300.  I did find the set listed on Amazon on sale for $1495; and it said it was $2,006 off list price...

If it looks like white van, smells like white van, then they must be white van even if they were sold to you from a blue van.

The dead give away that something is fishy is when you go to the website you have no indication where to buy them or even an business address.   No Internet sales and no list of authorized dealers or even the name of the dude who drives the van.    This should tell anyone with any common sense the web site is nothing but a shell to convince you this is a legitimate company and you are not breaking the law by buying stolen property.

One thing for sure if you paid $300 you still paid too much. You don't think these guys would be in business selling stuff for less than it cost to buy from some pacific rim source.

I love the disclaimer at the bottom left of their "catalog" pages ...

"Manufacturer's suggested price do not represent a bona fide selling price in the metro trade area" -- ROFLMAO!!

I take it you are mad because the great speakers you fell for are not worth the price marked on the box or shown in a catalog.

Do you expect us to feel sorry for you because you are stupid and brought something out of the back of a van.   If you were in the market for speakers you should have joined this forum before today and you wouldn't have been taken.   Besides what makes you think you were taken?  You probably paid a fair retail mark up for what the two dudes in the blue truck paid for the speakers they sold  you.

Remember the saying if it's too good to be true it probably isn't true.

I went to the site and liked how they have a Widescreen review cover implying that they were reviewed. Of course you can't actually read the article
