Hi Everybody,

How do I go about setting up a 5.1 surround sound system with Behringer truth Monitors...as of now I've got my eyes on either the 2031A or the 2031P's...which is better for a 5.1 the passive's or the active's and how do I go about it...what other equipment do I need...oh and I wanted to use the B2092A woofer too...please help..thanks

If you want to use the active monitors then your receiver needs pre-amp outputs.  With pro equipment you also need to match voltage of the pre-amp sections.  Some receivers don't have enough voltage output in their pre-amp section to adequately push a piece of pro gear.

If you want to use the passive monitors then you just connect them to your receiver like any other home theater speaker using speaker wire.

Don't use the Behringer sub.  It only goes down to 32hz.  It would not be able to work properly in a home theater where movies now have special effects with output in the 5hz range.
