^ If you're including HBO, Curb Your Enthusiasm returns and the new series Bored To Death starts on September 20 at 9 and 9:30.

I thought Dollhouse started on September 25 but I could be wrong.

And other cable programs include: South Park starts up again on October 7 at 10 PM on Comedy Central and Star Wars: The Clone Wars on October 2 at 8 PM on Cartoon Network.

Added the HBO shows, corrected the Dollhouse date (I was working off an old press release), and added South Park. I'm not adding Clone Wars because Cartoon Network's programming is too erratic to keep track of neatly. I'm sticking to scripted programming for other cable networks for the same reason. If anyone wants to track the rest of it, go for it.

First addition below is TONIGHT - Monday September 7th !!!!!

SEPTEMBER 7
GHOST WHISPERER (Sci-Fi 7pm EDT)
Note: Sci-Fi is listing this as a series premiere, but I think this is more of a marathon/accelerated airing of the older seasons of this, from the pilot on out.

OCTOBER 2
STARGATE UNIVERSE (Sci-Fi pm EDT 9pm EDT)

OCTOBER 9
SANCTUARY (Sci-Fi 10pm EDT)

Oh, and you ahve SEPTEMBER 14th listed twice, (exact same information repeated).

Ghost Whisperer is a second run airing. I have the CBS premiere date for the new season listed above. Fixed the September 14th problem and added the new Sci-Fi shows.

I will be on vacation during that last week of September, which has majority of premieres. A lot of catching up when I get back.

NBC is in big trouble.

http://www.deadline.com/hollywood/maura-tierney-drops-out-of-parenthood/

Maura Tierney has now dropped out of Parenthood, and so the show is in shambles, and unlikely to be ready anytime soon.. meanwhile, testing data on "Mercy" is -insanely- bad, and there is a growing rift between the network and those who are handling the production, and it may be virtually dead before it airs.

Not looking good at the peacock.

Most of the solid performers they have now were brought to the network by Kevin Reilly, who NBC promptly fired and FOX promptly hired. When Jeff Zucker took over NBC, the network was #1 in primetime and FOX was #4. Now FOX is #2 (sometimes #1) and NBC is #4 (#5 if Univison is having a good night). Coincidence?

Do keep in mind, though, that there are many ways to play the game, and therefore many ways to "win".  Size of audience is just one metric, and although it is somewhat correlated with more critical business metrics, it isn't necessarily a strong correlation in all cases.

I'm so excited for Ghostwhisperer tomorrow night. A 5 year time jump!? We missed the kid's terrible twos, or maybe not ;)
