Wiki Enhancement Requests

Please put all Wiki related enhancements in this thread.

This is not an enhancement suggestion...but a question about wiki usage.

I am completely clueless about wikis and how to use them.

RAF has written a wiki to which I thought I would like to respond.

If one is to respond in any way, or engage in a discussion on the contents of the wiki, it seems as if we are being led to start a thread on the subject in the appropriate forum.  Is that correct?

There seems to be a discussion area within the wiki forum area...but that seems to be more for content of the form of the wiki itself (organizational issues, etc.).  Is that also correct?

I have started a thread in AH on the topic (even though there have been several others over the years) which links to RAF's wiki.  I figured it might be better to have a new thread which specifically references the wiki since their seems to be a drive to heighten interest in the newer sections of the HTF software platform.

I admit some of the features I'd look for:

(1) Allow for multiple pages or sections within a Wikki
(2) Provide Editor annotation.. ie, if someone wants to interject something in a Wiki (ala Wikkipedia) they can, just note who it was from and the original author can approve or reject
(3) We can't use Media in the Wiki.  I tried to link in some Youtube and it dosen't work.  It would be good if it did, it might be easier to explain some things with video.
(4) Annotations.. it'd be good if we had a way to properly attribute sourcing, when it's used.

Thanks.  I would like to add allow different capitalization in the titles HTF for example or DVD

Punctuation in wiki titles would be cool, too.

Wow.  You can't use any media in wiki.  I tried to use JPGs, and they don't appear when I say "save"..

Matt-
You can.  JPG, embedded video etc.  You are Ron's new best friend.  He is the only one up until now (that I know of) who is intermittently not able to upload images.  He will get get the upload window, select an image and it will indicate that it is saving, but not appear.  Has it only happened in Wikis, or have you every got it in the forum?  Refresh my memory with OS, Browser model, etc so I can get it added to Ron's ticket.

Can you try it again?

Only in Wikkis.  I've not had problem elsewhere.  When I use an embed or a link, it just doesn't show up.
