Time Life's ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME 25th Anniversary 9 disc set

Not sure if this has already been reported, or if this is even the right forum, but it's something I've wanted for a long time. Like season sets of SNL, it's something I thought we'd never see.

Read about this several weeks ago, but seeing the specs on the TL web site, it seems strange. Several performances from the same artist on the same night are spread over several discs, and there is no listing of induction and acceptance speeches (often a highlight of the RnRHoF). And what about the earliest years? Those inductions and jams featured greats like Chuck Berry, the Beatles, the Stones, the WHo, etc. I'll most likely get this, but I would like more detail on what is in the set, and would have preferred a straight chronological program.

Got this late last week. Some very cool, historic stuff. But my biggest complaint is that the induction speeches are edited -- only where the induction/acceptance speeches are extras are they complete. The rest, sprinkled throughout the set, are edited. Huge, huge mistake. In many cases these speeches were the best parts of the show.
