As the title suggests I am thinking of getting a small home cinema system using one of these brands. Is there a preference one above the other, any comments will be very usefull.

I had a pair of Mourdant-Short 902's (a 5 1/4" bookshelf) a couple of years back and thought they were very good speaker. Very nice mid-range and not bright or harsh. Real good build quality although fairly basic looking. But a real performer. Gave them to a friend.
You couldn't go wrong with either M-S or B&W.
