 1.85:1??????

Typo in the PR, or is not in OAR?

I'm not kidding.  I had to read this three times and I'm still not 100% sure.

This is an announcement about the Blu-ray (with bonus DVD) release of the 2000 Ron Howard film?

Looking at that cover (and the thread title, frankly), I figured (and hoped) it was the 1966 TV version.  I cannot believe that would be the cover art they would use for the 2000 movie.

Please add some kind of proper identifier in the title of the thread, Ron?!?

Damn!

I just went straight from the cover to the specs. You are right....its the Jim Carrey... no thanks.

I think Ron may have accidentally put the cover art from the upcoming Warner release of the 1966 cartoon (which is coming 10/6/09).

And 1.85:1 is the correct OAR for the 2000 film.

The press release is definitely talking about the live action movie so I think the cover image is incorrect. And to the best of my knowledge, Warners has the cartoon.

Sorry gents.  Totally my fault.

I uploaded the wrong cover art.  I have since corrected it.
This is the live-action release.

Thanks, Ron.

I still think it would be a good idea to add "2000" (or something similar) to the thread title so people know what they're going to read about.
