I purchased a 10 inch portable dvd player with a swivel screen (Insignia brand from Best Buy). The reason for purchasing the swivel screen was that I wanted to be able to use the player laying flat against the back of the seat. My daughter is still facing backwards, and it would allow her to watch without the thing flipped down for the base of teh player. My sister has an RCA player that folds up and lays flat, and her player came with the case. Mine did not, and neither do the Sony's, and some others, I know I checked. Yet, it seems all I can find from case manufacturers are the kinds that open up at a 90 degree angle and you sit the player in there. You would think somebody would make some type of case that had a clear side like my sisters RCA that she can fold the thing around and lay it flat without the stupid base sticking out.
