Pioneer PDP with external media box

I have a 50" Pioneer Plasma with the external media box - i would now like to mount this TV on the wall and locate the media box away from the TV. The lead that connects the media box to the TV (white and black - DVI and ???) is only 2m long.

Do i have any options with extending this cable or do I need to contact Pioneer about getting a long cable for big $$$?

Also have to deal with signal loss possibilities.  The media box was not designed to be so far away from the TV.
