I have a set of Bose 901 Series I speakers and have been searching the web for wall mounting brackets for my 901's. When I purchased the speakers in 1970, Bose offered both the pedestals and wall brackets. I would be very grateful if anyone knows where I can find a set of brackets.

Checking Ebay or other auction sites might be your best bet. Have you tried contacting Bose themselves?

Can't help you with the brackets - though I agree with Rich's suggestion about contacting Bose about that - but before the Bose bashers started posting a bunch of negativity, I wanted to post the following (I'm no Bose fanboy and I do not like the way they market their products; and with few exceptions I think most of them are overpriced, most of those exceptions being their 201, 301 and 901 series of speakers):
* IMO unless a person has heard the 901s PROPERLY set up, then that person doesn't know what the 901s are actually capable of doing.
* IMO unless a person has listened to the 901s operating with their MANDATORY active EQ box in place, again, they cannot know what the 901s can actually sound like.

I also have had a set of Bose 901 Series II. I have never seen or heard of a wall mounting bracket. I did dig out my old manual and Bose recommended two installation methods the first and most popular were the pedestals that were about 18" off the ground. The other method was to hang them from your ceiling. You turn the speakers upside down and replace the rubber feet with screw eyes and use chain to attach them to an eye mounted in your ceiling. They recommend that you find a ceiling stud. The measurement that Bose recommends is
18" to 36" from ceiling to top of speaker
18" to 48" from side walls
the V at the rear of the speaker should be 8" to "16 from the rear wall (closer = more bass response)
If the cabinets are located well above the listeners head tip the rear of the cabinet slightly downward by lengthening the rear chains.
As you can see making a wall bracket to fit these measurements would be difficult.

Lance, I have to agree with you. I don't like the current Bose marketing system of selling overpriced products at fancy Bose factory stores using specially constructed demo audio sources. Before that they were sold a regular audio stores. I think this started when they came out with their cube systems. Even if you go to a place like Best Buy you cannot A/B a Bose system against other speakers because they are set up in a different area of the store and can only play the special Bose demo music. As far as being over priced. I paid $450 for my 901 Series II in 1974 and that included the walnut trim pieces.
You are correct without the a EQ box in place the Bose are a useless speaker system no better than an average boom box. You also needed an amp with lots of power to drive then. I use an an old Sansui 9090 DB to drive mine. In the era of Stereo music it was very hard to find a two channel system that could out perform a properly set up and tuned set of 901's, especially at loud volume. I always felt that they pretty much faithfully reproduced the music source. If bass and treble were they they gave them to you if not they did not create then. I still use mine to listen to music but I could not incorporate them into a home theater system they just didn't match other speakers and needed their own power amp because of the EQ. The one thing I do find interesting that the direct/reflecting sound of the 901's is somewhat similar to the multi channel sound of a 5.1 system. Perhaps that explains why many stereo purists didn't like the 901 system.
Thanks for all the inputs and I agree with all comments regarding Bose marketing post 901 I & II. I bought my 901's in a small stereo store in Tempe, Arizona right outside the ASU campus. I am currently using a Phase Linear 400 to drive the 901's and really enjoy the fullness of the sound. I have also used a Yamaha M60, but prefer the Phase Linear.
In the past I have hung the 901's from the ceiling, and may resort to that method if not successful with the brackets. My application is a log home with a pitched ceiling. I know I will not have the optimum environment for the 901's, but am thinking that the brackets might provide the best solution. I can also resort to making the brackets. Thank you again!
