What do I need???

 I am looking at getting a Surround Sound System... Reciever, Speakers Amps etc. We have a PS3 a Wii a Samsung TV and a budget of $1500. I was also hoping for wireless rear speakers.  There is so much choice out there does anyone know what would best suit my needs????

Hi Wattbel,

For $1500 you can get a very nice setup.  I will try to talk you out of wireless speakers -  they tend to be more trouble than they are worth.  There are many ways to hide the speaker cable to the surrounds (BTW - 5.1 setups, the "rears" are not really behind you - they are to either side of your main listening area).

For your budget this is what I would get:

Onkyo 607 - about $450
SVS - SBS-01 - about $950
cables/wires from Monoprice.com or Blue Jeans cables - about $30

BTW - It is always best for you to go listen to speakers yourself.  We all have different tastes.
