Anybody get upgrade from Clearwire to Clear (4G WiMax) yet?

I just got an email from Clearwire.  There's a mandatory modem upgrade coming in the next week or so.  They are upgrading service in the Boise area from 2G WiMax to 4G WiMax.  For me that means download speed  goes from 768 Kbps to 3 Mbps.

Anyone already do this?  I'm just cynical when a big company says "trust me" about how painless an upgrade will be.

So far so good except for a mistake in the shipping message.  Clearwire said they send the new modem via UPS next day air and gave me a UPS tracking number.  The tracking number was declared bogus by UPS.  But this afternoon a FEDEX truck pulled up and delivered my modem.

I unpluged my old modem, plugged in the new one, rebooted the system, and everything worked fine except at twice the old speed.
