Denon AVR-890 vs Onkyo TX-SR607

Hey Guys,

I´m about to buy my AVR but I´m not 100% sure yet...
These are my 2 options:


Denon AVR-890 (Price: €565 - $800 )

Which one would you chose?

The Denon has Audyssey MultEQ, the Onkyo has Audyssey 2EQ.  Big difference.  2EQ will not include your subwoofer in its filters.

If you can you get the 707 (or 706) for the same price as the Denon, then I think it would be a good deal.

Hi ALX09,

Did you get the Denon? How was it?

David, is the Denon AVR-890 and the Denon 2310 suppose to have almost the same features? The AVR-890 cost about $100 more.

I was originally looking at Onkyo's but after reading throught some of the threads I'm leaning towards purchasing either the 890 or 2310.
