Need help with making a decision between two Pioneer Receivers. SC-07 vs the new SC-27

I have been debating on purchasing the Pioneer Elite SC-07 receiver for awhile and just as I am about to purchase it of course Pioneer releases a new model the SC-27. I hope someone can help me out in deciding if it's worth the extra cash to step up to the SC-27. I can get a SC-07 from a reputable seller on Amazon for $1,022.95 plus shipping or I can purchase the SC-27 for $2000 from a local retailer. The SC-27 does have a few additional certifications and some other nice bells and whistles that the SC-07 is lacking but I don't see enough to justify the extra $900.00 in cost. If any one knows of any major differences that I should be taking into consideration please advise. Lastly as far as my set up is concerned I have a Pioneer Elite 60" plasma Pro150 FD, a Sony PDP 550 Blue Ray player.and Polk audio floor standing speakers, bi pole surrounds, 10"sub, and center channel that are 8 years old. I own the SC-05 and know it and the SC-07 quite well.  I have also seen the specs and features for the new models and have been following some discussions about them.  I'd go for the SC-07 is a heartbeat.  The SC-27 doesn't offer much different (5 HDMI Ins vs 4 HDMI Ins, multichannel PQLS vs 2-channel PQLS are the two "biggies" that come to mind).   The general consensus seems to be that guts are essentially unchanged and that the differences are primarily for marketing differentiation.  That doesn't mean it isn't going to be a fantastic unit.  I just don't think it is that big an upgrade over the SC-07.
