Rugrat keeps turning off TV

I have an older Mitzu "box type" big screen and when my brothers kid feels he isn't getting the attention he deserves, he turns off the tv.  It drives me nuts.  Is there a way to disable the buttons at the front of the TV?  I think the model number is VS 70707.  Any and all help would be appreciated.

Hunt around in the TV menus for a "front panel lock".  Sometimes under V-chip menu.  My Mits has it but it's a newer model, don't know about that one.

Other recommendation = Tivo, good for dealing with interruptions from kids/wives/SOs

Thanks, I had my wife check it out and unfortunately it doesn't have that feature.

I have also seen some families put large objects in front of the tv to make it really hard for the young ones to get close to the buttons.

coffee tables and such ...
