I have a Samsung TXM3098WHF Tantus television that is exhibiting slight to moderate distortion in the horizontal plane (left and right bow inward at the bottom). Has anyone done a calibration on this set using the service menu to cure this type of problem? I assume from working on CRT systems for many years that there is probably a component problem associated with a non-linearity issue of more than about 5%. Can someone shed some light on this before I begin? I have a cross-hatch generator and am waiting for the service manual to arrive before I begin.
