Not just 3-D but widescreen. HONDO was photographed with the Warner Bros All-Media camera and was intended for 1.75.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Hondo in 3D. It never played that way in the town I grew up in and the colored specs version shown on TV was a travesty. I remember going to a kiddie matinee to see it (I wasn't very old) because the ads in the newspaper said it was in 3-Dimensions and Warnercolor. I was really disappointed when I walked into the theatre and wasn't handed my polaroids. But I still enjoyed the movie... even if it was lacking the advertised dimension.
