JBL In Wall speakers

Thread Starter
 Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and have been searching around for advice and tips. So far everything has been helpful.

I am trying out my buddy's jbl s312 floor speakers as part of my upgraded surround system with l830s in the rear and a jbl center channel. These speakers are replacing a Bose acoustimass ii. I have a seperate sub running as well.

Unfortunately for me, my wife hates the floor speakers, and wants some sort of cubes or in wall or something along those lines. How are the JBL sp8 speakers (in wall with 8")? Would that give decent enough sound in the front? What other suggestions do you have besides sending the wife packing lol?
