Hello,
I'm using an HDMI cable to connect between my HP Pavilion dv9750 (with Vista) to an LCD TV screen (Toshiba 42") for movie watching purpose (MKV files). The picture is very clear (although I can't see all of my desktop space due to some resolution mismatch, but it's not a big problem when I'm viewing the movie in a full-screen mode).

The problem is with the sound. I'm able to hear the audio through the TV speakers, but I have to increase the TV volume very much so that I already hear background noises together with the audio (especially noticeable during quiet scenes).
Maybe it's also worth mentioning that other computer sounds that are not related to the movie (such as error bips on Vista), are heard in much louder volume than the movie.

I have a Denon receiver which is connected to 2 big speakers, and that's how I usually hear my audio while watching TV or DVD, and not directly through the TV speakers. How can I hear the audio through those big speakers? (In the TV menu, the main channel is named "Denon", but I have to switch to HDMI1 in order to view my computer)

Thank you in advance!

Tom
