who can help me to find title of tv-mini serie ?

looking for title of a tv mini series, it is a story about a rich banker and a poor immigrant from i think poland.

the immigrant becomes very rich an takes of baron hotels.... plse help !

I don't know. That sounds like the plot to the movie Sabrina, the remake starring Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond and Greg Kinnear.

Yeah, except for the poor Polish immigrant part.  And the hotel.  And the fact that Sabrina is a romantic comedy, not the decades-long story of two business tycoons.  Other than that, it sounds exactly the same.    (In the remake Sabrina's father, Harrison Ford's driver, is from England, but he's not poor, and he's a decidedly minor character.)

Sounds Yusuf is thinking of Kane and Abel (1985)

I wondered if it could be and I may spell her name wrong.  The Leona Hensley Bio with story about her and husband Harry.

I wonder if the miniseries was "The Moneychangers" from, I believe, the 70's with Kirk Douglas, Christopher Plummer?  I remember that one.

Hi, its definately 'Kane and Abel'  from the book by Jeffrey Archer
Starring Sam Neil and Peter Strauss.


I bough a copy on DVD last year on the internet.
