BIC F12

Decision goes to F12 after much researching. Feel comfortable after reading what so many other folks said about their's. Even if I had waited and saved up for nicer sub, that still would've been extra money I could use for other pressing endeavors. Too many hobbies; too little money. Anyway, just ordered new F12 this afternoon for $181.55 shipped.

I found my way here while researching a Polk PSW10 on slickdeals.net. Eventually I figured a BIC F12 would be a better investment.

I tried to PM you but Im not allowed to until I get 3 posts. I was wondering if you would share with me where you got your great deal on the BIC F12, or if someone on the forum would recommend an online store. Im looking for under $200 shipped.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, sorry for just now replying but, I had almost given up on this thread.  I found my F12 at Provantage. I just checked and they are backordered at the moment. Amazon shows to have a few but cost is about $340 or so shipped. I must say that I feel you will be very pleased with the F12 even at higher price. I had sub's volume knob set on 3 while running Audyssey and it still caused my receiver setting to be -9db. I have been playing around with this and have it currently set at -2 and sub's knob at 4.  If anything I may have to turn it back down because this thing really does cause the whole house to shake.  I watched Saving Private Ryan the other night and the next day a movie called Storm Cell. Wow, you have to experience it to believe it.  We had a thunderstorm pass through while watching Storm Cell and we actually could not tell the difference from what we were hearing was the movie or outside.  Sure you could buy a better sub for lots more money but, how much more does the average person really need?
