I just purchased an Onkyo HT-R560 receiver. I have all the original speakers that came with the set. I would like to know what the best settings are to get the most out of it. I listen to more music on it, rather than watch movies. Even if you don't think your settings are the best I would still like to see them. Thank you.

If by "settings" you mean stereo, Dolby ProLogic, DTS, etc. then I usually use Stereo for music, but occasionally DTS Neo:6/Music, and DTS Neo:6/Cinema for movies/tv shows that are broadcast in stereo. Dolby ProLogicII is probably more popular but I feel it softens the treble too much. It does make better use of the surrounds, though. It's all personal opinion, though.
Thanks bro. I'll try out each setting and see which one sounds the best to me, and let you know how it goes.
