I'm pretty sure a consensus would be that if you buy a good enough quality sub, one 12 inch would be plenty. But what if, say one were to find a very good deal on a "decent" 10 inch sub And, seeing as how my listening area is approximately 17 x 15 feet, and opens up into another room about same size; maybe (2) 10's might be nice. I know 12's would be better, but just considering bang for buck factor.
Would you really miss whatever amount of low range frequency range of 12's to mean much practical difference? I am thinking mainly for movie watching.
Oh, the 10 inch subs in question are Boston HPS-10HO for $169 shipped.
Inquiring (scheming) minds want to know.........
