Need a little help completing my new Entertainment Center..

I don’t if anyone here can help, but I’m wondering if anyone here knows where I can get a small diameter (about ½ inch to 1 inch) squared off U-shaped drapery rod?
Here is what I am trying to do: I have a new Entertainment Center that I designed, but had someone else build for me as I did not have the facilities in which to do the build. I was going to have pocket doors in the TV section, but needed to keep cost down so I left it open. What I want to do now is put fabric draw curtains there. I want to put up a small rod above the TV hidden and out of the way using u-brackets that I will mount above the TV on the under-side of the top of the cabinet. The rod should be a sort of square U-shape with the bottom coming to the front. Then I will make the curtains and hang them from the rod. That way I can close off the TV when needed.
 
Any suggestions?

Because of my wife, I know way more about curtains and drapes than any man should.  If I were you, I'd look at Lowes, Home Depot and even McMaster-Carr dot com for different materials that you could use to make your rods.  My living room and one bathroom have arched windows.  Real curtain rods would have been close to $200 each.  I wasn't paying $1,400.  I spent $60 on copper pipe from Lowes and built a wooden frame that matched the arch.  In an afternoon I built and installed all 7.  For my theater there wasn't a curtain rod long enough to match the length of the 103" screen.  Even though you can't see it, I have two decorative curtain rod ends connected to electrical conduit pipe.

I gave you my examples of thinking outside the box because I can't visualize what you are describing.  I work better with pictures.

Thanks Robert. I wish I could draw a picture of what I am looking for or looking to do, but even with all this technology it is impossible to do that. I do plan on taking pics when I am done and I can post those, but that won't help with this.
I was thinking copper pipe myself and that would work. (Unless I can get something a bit less expensive thant copper pipe).
My only question is how would I bend it to make the corners round or smooth 90 degree angles and not sharp kinks? Hmm, I wonder if they actually have fittings for the corners, that would work very well.
All I need is the pipe cut to size and three brackets (two for the ends and one in the middle where the drapes meet. (Ohm and some short wood screws of course).

I'm going to go to the stores and check all that out.
