Shop On TV Network

We are planning on buying more large flat panel TV's for our offices.  I heard that there are new laser TV's.  Do you have any information about them?  How are laser TV's different compared to LCD and plasma?  Is the quality of the picture good?  Is it affordable?

Thanks,

STVN

Greetings

Only Mits makes Laser sets.  they are rear projection units ... and seem to be another variant in the implementation of DLP.  More colors and longer bulb life.

Affordable is relative.

One person says a BMW is affordable ... another says no.  Who is right and who do you listen to?

At the moment Mitsubishi only has one model of the LaserVue TV - a 65" set.  It is about 10.5" deep and wall-mountable, although obviously not a flat-panel.  It also retails for between $6500 and $7000.  A typical 65" plasma like the Panasonic TH65PZ850U goes for under $3500 at reputable dealers.  (I don't think anybody makes a 65" LCD)

Joe
