proxima 5100

hello
i was hopeing some one could help me out in any way i was just given a proxima 5100 i nkow it is an old modle but it still works perty good i have to say my problem is it did not come with a remote and i was hopeing some one may tell me what might work

Logitech Harmony remote models have the most complete online database.  I prefer the 670/620 or One depending on feature/pricing preferences.

i have been trying that but it still will not do any thing i need it to i am useing the harmony720 and it will not ajust the coloer or ant thing any help would be great

It's in the Logitech database so it ought to work if the projector is functioning.
So no buttons work at all?  power, menu?  IR sensor is in the front, are you aiming at the right spot or is it blocked somehow?

no it seams to work some opshons now i can change focus and the zoom but not menu or left to right in the menu but my bell recever can do focus zoom and it will pull up the menu but still not left to right to try to agust any thing

In the device mode (hit device then the projector), try to systematically test all buttons, and all the commands on the LCD pages, to see if any will get you left/right.  If none of them work, what I would try to do is enter a different Proxima projector model number into the Harmony as another device (say the 5500 or 5150), to see if they have a more complete compatible code set.

If none of those options work, then you'll probably have to hunt down a replacement remote, ask Proxima.
