The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway). |
The Specials
--BE AWARE! Universal has two releases this week--not listed above--which are being released in a Modified Aspect Ratio. The films 'Night Mother (1.85:1) and Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (2.35:1) are reportedly both being released in 4:3 aspect ratios. 
It has been a long time since we have posted such a warning. Both are listed for sale at Amazon ($10.99) and Best Buy ($12.99).
--Lots of differences, this week, between the Best Buy flyer and bestbuy.com. Nothing major...but something you might want to check out for potential in-store pick-ups on any new releases.
--Best Buy is advertising a FREE LOST ARTIFACTS BOOK when you pre-order the Best Buy EXCLUSIVE Lost: The Final Season Blu-ray or DVD in-store or @ bestbuy.com. Not just the sheer volume of it (and there are other weeks forthcoming with numerous titles-of-interest) but also strangeness regarding release dates, re-releases of titles in DVD/BD Combo Packs, a ton of themed M-G-M film collections I waded through (but ultimately rejected for this week's offering), unusually bad forum bugginess, etc. But, nevertheless, here 'tis.
