John Schneider got killed off as Jonathan Kent in "Smallville," and he just got killed off as Grace's father in "Secret Life of an American Teenager." That got me wondering. Has any actor, in real recurring roles (not just a one-time thing, but a real recurring character) been killed off more times? Kenny from "Southpark" does NOT count.

Jeffery Dean Morgan ties that, with Supernatural and Grey's Anatomy; it seems like he's been on a lot of other things, too.

Sprague Grayden has been kill off many times in TV series.
John Doe (2002)
Joan of Arcadia (2005)
Sons of Anarchy (2008)
I was "expecting" her character to die, because of her past in these other shows but that never happened.
24 (2009)
Over There (2005)(Canceled)
Jerico (2006)(Canceled)
Six Feet Under

And his character is already dead in Weeds at the start of the show, if that counts.
