Was lucky enough to see this show when in NYC a long time ago. Thought it pretty good. Cast was excellent...the story-not entirely original....but good considering based on real people. i know that RENT did not score well as a movie, but with the success of DREAMGIRLS, HAIRSPRAY, and CHICAGO...anyone heard of any efforts to bring this one to the screen?
Any info. would be appreciated.
