I realize these forums are meant primarily for home audio, but i was wondering if someone could help me with my situation. I own a pair of Sennheiser HD580 headphones, and i use them for listening to music on my computer at home. Their powered by a headroom total bithead amp,but the extremely high impedance level of my phones doesn't allow this small amp to do them justice at all. Does anyone know of any amp/dac solutions that power these headphones the way they were meant to? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Re: Sennheiser HD580 headphones
What specific problems are you having? "Does not do justice" is kind of vague. The Bithead amp should be more than capable of driving the HD580s (in terms of power). Are you sure that your computer settings are correct? If you are just looking for an upgrade, do you still want an all in one unit? DIY or commercial? What do you want improved? I would poll the head-fi forums as well... there is a lot of expertise over there.
