Transformers Season 1

Well, I just got back from Best Buy with my copy of Transformers Season 1. I like the thinpack packaging, no digipacks here. But, I was shocked at the size of the Transformers magnet. Sheesh, it's huge.

I got my copy for $16.99 because Target had it on sale and I got a price match at Best Buy.

Not sure if I should buy this first volume set or not?

I know they are taking precorders on the complete series.. but I am curious what is exclusive to the box set? If it just a few more interviews as cool as they can be and the packaging I can stand getting the volume sets.

What is the schedual for these seasons? I just want to know when I should look for season 2.

Season 2 Part 1 comes out September 15th, I believe. No news on Part 2 just yet. Season 2 was the last season of the classic G1 Transformers series before it was resurrection years later with Beast Wars and all of those other shows featuring the mini-cons and all of that.

Actually there was a full Season 3 and a 3-episode Season 4.  Season 3 & 4 are post-movie, so they have all the new robots and space adventures.

I'll be holding off for the complete series....mostly because I don't have much money saved up for it yet :)

I've actually enjoyed the first season release. The quality is much better than those horrid Rhino releases plus I like the clean menus.
