Re: Entourage Season 6

Feels like its been forever since season 5.
I'll be watching season 5 finale again to refresh my memory.

Very excited to have Ari and the boys back.

Starts tonight at 10:30 PM!

Kind of a boring episode, but it does look like it sets up the rest of the season.

Little confused.
Which house are they back in.
I think they mentioned that they are back at the old one?

It's their house from the first season.

A good start IMO.  Entourage, like lots of other shows, suffered from "needing to be bigger" in each successive season, which unfortunately made the stories kind of ridiculous.  Vince does one bad movie and then can't get a role?  Come on, this is Hollywood where stars routinely burn bridges, make asses of themselves, are prima donnas losing money for studios and we still see the same faces in successive movies.  Show was still entertaining, but not nearly as funny.  The show was at its best when it was just about the guys busting each other's balls and doing what guys do.  It seemed to get back to the "small story" last night.  Was a little surprised Jamie Lynn Sigler's people let her smoke pot onscreen since she is playing herself.

Has Turtle ever seen a comedy before? Ugly, fat or weird guys have been getting girls way out their league since the silent era.
Many sitcoms revolve around the fat guy with an attractive wife (King of Queens, Life with Jim are two recent TV shows that come to mind).

wow the girl who liked E was..... freakishly looking
post #11 of 98
Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. Super skinny with a large head. Then the makeup ontop of that.

Entertaining episode though. :)

Oh thank god im not alone on that. She was freakish looking on her own, then you put her in a scene next to Sloan and its laughable.

^ I thought that girl looked like she was 14. I'm sure she was in her 20's but E looked like he was going for jail bait.

Would you believe she is actually 25?!  Looked her up, Alexis Dziena.

She looked like a cross between an anorexic Olsen twin and Miley Cyrus.  NOT a worthy comparison for the ever-smokin' Chriqui.

Well, I think its pretty unanimous that whoever was in charge of casting that girl failed miserably.

Looks like she'll be around more than a millisecond.

^She actually looks pretty attractive in the picture on Ausiello's page. Not as hot as Sloan but Sloan's a tough act to beat.

What makes you think she wasn't cast perfectly?  She is not up to Sloan's par.  I thought that was the point.

I too thought Alexis Dziena looked 14 in this past episode of "Entourage".  Her waif look had me exclaiming, "Eat a cheeseburger, sweetheart!"  I also thought she looked kind of like Fiona Apple.

She was also in "Broken Flowers" with Bill Murray as Lolita, the teenage daughter of Sharon Stone's character, who flirts with Murray on his quest to find the author of the anonymous letter he receives from an ex-lover in his past.  Do a Google search for an eye-popping NSFW collage.

What's scary is that she actually looks like she lost weight since that film!

Just got caught up on the first 3 episodes of this season. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who went WTF!!! when E hooked up with the young neighbor. Compared to Sloan that's like trading in a Ferrari for a Ford Taurus.

I loved the "She's Dating Him?" banner on the picture of Turtle and Jamie Lynn in the gossip rag.

I also had a good chuckle when they said how Turtle's mom bought him a Weight Watchers membership for his 13th birthday.

That's the same banner that goes off in my head every time I hear they're dating in real life.

Since I'm about as overweight as Turtle/Jerry Ferrara, I find him to be a true inspiration and a beacon of hope that some hot chicks dig fat guys.

Travis, is your birthday coming up - we could pitch in to get you a weight watchers membership.  ;)

Just kidding of course.

"I too thought Alexis Dziena looked 14 in this past episode of "Entourage"

I didnt even realize it was her until I saw the closing credits.

Very mediocre episodes so far. I liked the season premier better than the past 2.

Another just ok episode.

Weak season so far.  I think a good plot point would be Drama doing a Viking Quest "reboot" movie.

I think Turtle's storyline has been pretty good this year and I like Ari and Gary Cole's character's story too. I do think that Vince has been kinda sidelined and I still don't like E's girl (she came off as a rude bitch when she was making fun of E's old lady secretary) so that story isn't doing much for me.
