Oh, this was a survey of chains. I like In-N-Out and Fatburger okay but there are some local, non-chain places around here that are much better.

I was just at an In and Out when I was in SoCal last week. I've never been too impressed by their burgers or their fries.Knowlwood's burgers are heaven. So many times I went into that place for one thing and came out with a bacon burger instead. I can't find anything even close to being that good where I live now.

Atlanta. We have Fatburger here but I've had In-N-Out when I've been in California. Whenever I'm in Northern California I actually prefer a place called Taylor's Refresher in St. Helena.
The Wall Street Journal had a list of best burgers in the country a couple of years ago and a hole in the wall place here placed number one and another place here placed in the top ten.
