I'm a relatively new fan of David Suchet's excellent Poirot series and have been looking into getting some of the DVDs. Recently, Acorn Media "repackaged" the Poirot series from 1989 - 1996. They've released nine three-disc slim sets ("The Classic Collection," sets 1-3; and "The Movie Collection," sets 1-3). (I know these do not include the 12 A&E movies, nor do they include the soon-to-be-released movies airing on PBS later this month...but I digress.)

Given the lower price for these slim sets (as well as the well-timed Amazon British Mystery and B&N Buy 2-Get 1 Free sales), I'm thinking about picking these up, rather than plunking down almost $175 for the 12-disc "Classic Collection."

As tempting as this is, so far Acorn has only repackaged the first 27 50-minute Poirot episodes in "Classic Collection" sets. There are still nine episodes out there. I'd hate to get 3/4 of the shows and then have to go elsewhere to round out the set.

I wanted to see if any Poirot fans out there had any word of a fourth "Classic Collection" set being released in the near future. Thanks in advance!
