The running joke in my office when the Friday Fry's newspaper flyer comes out is "Anything good this week?" "Meh, not really." I'd go broke if I didn't develop some purchasing discipline over the years with a Fry's store just 3 miles away.

The "Managers Specials" and un-advertised sales are even better, not to mention the open box items (but be very carefull when buying open box items at Frys. It's the Walmart of electronics). But last year the store in Fremont CA had a pair of floor model Polk LSi15's in excellent condition for $299 each!

But I still think the Infinity Primus P-362's NIB for $99 a piece is about the best deal I've seen there.

I save a ton of money by staying the h*ll out of that place.

How funny, just spent 2 hours at the Manhattan Beach store (3 BDs purchased from the list above) and saw this thread.

If I ever move away from SoCal, I'm going to miss the weather, In-n-out burgers and Fry's Electronics.

All I need is a 7-11, some kinda Mart (Walmart, K-Mart, Target-Mart, etc.) and a Fry's. In-N-Out Burger is nice but a Wendy's will do. And Internet access so I can buy things on-line and cause trouble around here . With two older convertibles I guess I also need good weather and a mechanic with a sense of humor.
